HEY
has long supported Growing American Youth's efforts
to support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning
(LGBTQ) youth in the St. Louis region. HEY provides
a consistent presence at Growing American Youth's weekly
meetings in the form of outreach workers. At Growing
American Youth, we bring resources and are available
to answer questions and provide risk reduction counseling
to individual youths. Several times annually, we provide
group education and prevention workshops and on a biweekly
basis offer counseling and testing services at the meetings.
HEY has also provided consistent support and educational
resources for Growing American Youth's annual LGBT Youth
Lock-In.
