LGBT Focused Staff
Funded by a Health Education and Risk Reduction (HE/RR) grant from the CDC, Health and Education for Youth and Young Adults (HEY) has two full-time HIV/STD Prevention Specialists and three part-time peer educators who focus on HIV prevention specifically for LGBT persons. These are trained staff members who can perform the free OraSure HIV test and answer any questions you may have about the test, HIV and other STDs, sexual health, etc. We have staff who are heterosexual and those who are members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities. Be assured that we have culturally sensitive staff members who can assist you.
