Workshop
Programs
Workshops can be performed for any LGBT group and
include, but are not limited to:
Trust and Intimacy: This three-part workshop
is marketed to MSM and explores the nature of gay
male relationships, the dynamics of being a male homosexual
and issues of trust in our culture, and how trust
affects intimacy and safer sex practices. Participants
will be engaged in honest conversation on routine
condom use, eroticizing safer sex techniques and negotiated
safety including role-plays and other skills-building
activities.
The New PNP (Protection n Playing): This three-part
workshop is marketed to MSM exploring the club, rave
and circuit scenes and the associated recreational
drug and alcohol use. Participants will be given information
on the effects of mixing certain club drugs and will
be engaged in skills-building sessions relating to
how being high and intoxicated can enhance risk-taking.
Real Sex Talk: This popular program engages
MSM in honest discussion about sex, condom use, condom
negotiation, places where men find partners, STD's,
and HIV. This open discussion centers around real
safer sex questions generated by the participants
rather than being lectured to or having a topic predicted
by the presenter.
