Part C Consumer Advisory Board

Clinic CAB

Washington University’s Infectious Diseases Clinic’s Ryan White Part C program has a consumer advisory board called “Clinic CAB”.

Clinic CAB is a meeting where clinic patients (aka “consumers”) meet together with clinic leadership staff:

  • To offer advice about how to improve HIV care in the clinic
  • To review quality management reports
  • To discuss current issues and challenges for people living with HIV/AIDS

Clinic CAB Mission Statement:

"The Washington University ID Clinic Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) consists of consumers, community members and staff. Our mission is to work in partnership to provide and receive guidance and input regarding daily operations, quality improvement initiatives, and evaluation of programs and services to address the needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS served by this clinic."
