HIV Positive Women, Children, Youth and Young Adults

Fall / Spring Semester Opportunities

Prevention, Education & Outreach
(For Students Seeking a Concentration or a Foundation Practicum)

Practicum students are needed to assist with:

  • HIV Prevention Education in the Schools
  • Volunteer Recruitment and Coordination
  • Program Development for the Youth Advocacy Committee
  • Support Group and Workshop Facilitation for Women of Color, Men Who Have Sex with Men, and Transgender Youth
  • Prevention for Men WhoHave Sex with men and, specifically, Men of Color Who Have Sex with Men

Working with the Project ARK Prevention Program is an excellent opportunity for students whose emphasis is on working with youth/young adults, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Communities and High Risk Heterosexual Communities of Color.  The Project ARK Prevention program is perfect for a foundation or a concentration practicum.  For more information contact Joel D. Mental Health
(For Students Seeking a Concentration Practicum)

    • Fall-Spring (Full Year) Practicum
    • Triage Clinic Patients
    • Short Term Counseling
    • Basic Knowledge of HIV
