How can I help someone living with HIV or to fight HIV in the St. Louis Community?

Volunteering with Project ARK

We have limited volunteer opportunities with Project ARK.  We are currently building our volunteer program to include more volunteer opportunties to assist with our organization.  Please re-visit our website during the summer of 2008 to learn more about these opportunities.
We need volunteers in the following areas:

Support of HIV+ kids, women, & families
Administrative Support

Volunteering with HIV+ Kids, women, & Families
If your interest is working with kids, women, or supporting our efforts with children, please contact Stacie Slovacek (Slovacek_s@kids.wustl.edu) at 314-454-4714. One excellent volunteer opportunity is to help with Camp HOPE, our weekend camp retreat for HIV-infected children and their affected family members. Check out our information on Camp HOPE and volunteering for camp.

Administrative Support
Volunteers are *always* needed to help with stuffing safer sex kits, make copies, label and stamp envelopes & brochures, inventory, design flyers, research materials, run errands, and much more. The assistance of Administrative volunteers cannot be overestimated. If interested in this volunteer work, please contact Stacie Slovacek (Slovacek_s@kids.wustl.edu) at 314-454-4714.
