Are you:
- Between the ages of 13-24 years old?
- Someone who cares about making people more aware about HIV/AIDS and sexual health?
- Looking to make a difference in your community?
Then we are looking for you for our Youth Advocacy Committee (YAC)!
The Youth Advocacy Committee (YAC) works to promote the holistic values of positive youth development and youth voice and to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS and sexual health. We believe that with accurate information and consistent support youth and young adults like you are capable of taking charge and making change when it comes to HIV prevention and sexual health!
YAC serves as a peer education program and as a resource to community organizations seeking to enhance the health and well-being of youth and young adults, allowing you to become part of conversations that will impact you and your peers.
If you’re interested in learning more or in participating, please email Alisha Fisher. Just make sure to include YAC in the header of the email.
We encourage youth of all genders, races, sexual orientations, ability levels, communities, and experiences of HIV to participate.
